Climafiber

Climafiber is a natural cellulose fiber with Zawax particles. Climafiber was developed by Togas Innovations. Zawax particles are integrated into the molecular structure of the fiber. They are synthesized from natural wax.

As a result, the fiber acquires the ability for natural thermal circulation and maintains an ideal microclimate around your body, which serves as a source of heat.

Thermal circulation

Wax is a material with high energy consumption, and one of the peculiarities of its molecular structure is the ability to quickly change its state of aggregation. Zawax particles are synthesized from wax: initially they are in a solid state, but after absorbing excess heat, they soften, and later solidify again to release the accumulated heat.

These transformations occur at the nanoscopic level, so they do not affect the qualities of the fiber in any way.

Cellulose

The production of Climafiber requires the use of natural cellulose fibers. The main raw material for these fibers is wood cellulose. This is obtained from trees that are subject to planned felling, whether they are intended by forest management for sanitary felling to improve forest health or to prevent forest fires.

Wax

Wax and paraffin are two substances that can provide the necessary level of thermal circulation. Since paraffin is a by-product of petroleum, we use regular wax.

We source our wax from a partner beekeeping production in Greece. This is located on the island of Zakynthos. The particles got their name ZAWAX by combining the words Zakynthos and Wax. The wax collection cycle is spring/autumn.

The amount of wax used in the production of Climafiber is minimal. Therefore, Climafiber does not cause allergic reactions.
