The Grisso photo frame impresses with its uniqueness. It is handmade in an ancient marquetry technique (or straw mosaic).
\nDecorative objects in this rare technique were incredibly popular in the 17th and 18th centuries and later, during the Art Nouveau period. In marquetry, a wooden base is decorated with strips of straw painted in different colors with natural dyes. Such elements make a mosaic look three-dimensional, creating interesting color transitions. Finished products are covered with a durable varnish to protect them from external influences and moisture.
\nGrisso is made of precious Indian rosewood \u2013 a durable and hard type of decorative wood. This original photo frame will decorate a console in the living room or a bedside table in the bedroom and will not go unnoticed thanks to its original geometric pattern and the interplay of gray-green shades in the mosaic. The pattern looks vivid and three-dimensional, creating a sense of perspective. These unusual marquetry objects highlight the beauty of natural materials and the delicate craftsmanship of handwork.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
