NEA serving plate

The original plate from the Nea collection is made of the highest quality white BONE CHINA porcelain, produced using traditional Chinese techniques.

Its composition includes 40–45% bone ash, kaolin (white clay), quartz and feldspar. This pearlescent porcelain is delicate, almost translucent in the light, and emits a fine tinkle when touched. The high proportion of bone ash, combined with white clay, gives it a special elegance. Despite its fragile appearance, BONE CHINA is much more resistant than other types of porcelain and retains its bright white color over time, without matting.

The production process is complex and carried out in several stages. The liquid porcelain is poured into special molds and fired in a gas kiln for 8–10 hours at 1200°C. After cooling, the pieces are carefully glazed by hand, then subjected to a second firing.

The delicately curved shape of the plate is reminiscent of a crescent moon. The purity of the white porcelain, without decoration, highlights its distinctive silhouette. It is ideal for canapés, fruits, nuts or sweets. The Nea collection is created for everyday use, but also to bring sophistication to festive meals.
