Erte candle holders are handmade from crystal — a rare material, prized for its brilliance and beauty.

Crystal is distinguished by its high hardness. Decorative objects made of crystal are heavy, stable and very durable. A unique property of this material is that it does not heat up when exposed to heat sources, which makes it ideal for candle holders. Unlike glass, crystal cannot be scratched or damaged with a sharp object.

The Erte set includes two pieces of different sizes, faceted in an unusual way by a craftsman using a special machine. Their shape allows for use from both sides: thus, the holders can resemble a trapezoidal pyramid that widens or narrows towards the base. They are versatile pieces — each side is designed to hold either classic long candles or pill candles.

The electroplating process gives the crystal a slightly smoky hue. The complex facets accentuate the shine of the material, amplifying the play of light in the evening atmosphere. This set is an original and elegant gift for any festive occasion.
