The classic Josso plaid is made from precious varieties of wool.

This warm model combines the rare down of Kashmir goats with merino fleece — two of the finest types of wool, appreciated for their softness, lightness, warmth and comfort. Merino wool absorbs moisture perfectly, providing beneficial dry heat. Cashmere allows for the creation of warm but airy pieces, finer even than silk. This precious down is collected by hand, by combing the goats every spring; a single goat provides only 100–150 grams of this delicate and warm fiber.

The Josso style is a tribute to noble classicism. The traditional English tartan pattern is immediately associated with an authentic woolen plaid.
