The exquisite Harlyn cup and saucer set is made of high-quality bone china.

The material is based on kaolin (white clay), quartz and bone ash (25%). Bone china is distinguished by its impeccable whiteness and fineness – it is thin, slightly translucent in the light. The high percentage of bone ash, combined with white clay, gives it its characteristic delicacy and elegance. Despite its fragile appearance, this type of porcelain is much more durable than other types of ceramics.

The production of bone china is a complex process, carried out in several stages. The liquid porcelain is fired in a gas kiln, in special molds, for 10–14 hours, at a temperature of 1400 °C. After cooling, the products are glazed by hand, and then the decoration is applied using the decal technique, also done by hand. The last stage is a new firing in the kiln. Thanks to this process, bone china items retain their white color and shine over time.

The smoky-grey cup is decorated with an intricate Art Deco geometric pattern and has a delicate, ring-shaped handle. The saucer is framed by the same ornament, highlighting the immaculate white of the porcelain. The elegant geometry in shades of grey, complemented by subtle gold accents, gives the set a sophisticated air.
