LOAN candle holder

The candle holder from the Loan collection combines the unique natural material with rare properties – selenite – and its manual processing. Selenite is used to create decorative objects and jewelry.

It is a yellowish-white mineral, a type of translucent gypsum. Its name comes from the Greek selene, meaning moon. It resembles the satellite in its hue and characteristic needle-like fibers, which create flashes of color – an attractive „lunar” optical effect.

If you shine a beam of light on a fragment of selenite, the mineral will appear to glow from within.

The Loan collection includes six candle holders of different sizes. The peculiarity of the stone structure and meticulous handwork guarantee that no candle holder in the set will repeat the pattern of another, each of them being unique.

Selenite has a number of characteristics: it is warm and even in winter, if you put it in the snow and then touch it, it will warm you and be pleasant to the touch. In lithotherapy, selenite is believed to help with concentration, calm, reduce stress and increase immunity.
